The LLRIB - Stanley Mission Administration is now accepting applications for the position of Nihithaw Askiy Immersion Program Coordinator for the Education Department.
Reporting to the Stanley Mission Council and Director of Education, you will be the Coordinator of this program. You will assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate the program. You will coordinate the activities and direction of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band-Stanley Mission Education Services with those of other education professionals, community agencies, educational institutions and other levels of government. As the NAIP Coordinator, you will also perform the following functions and possess the following qualifications:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the delivery of services to the students of RHMKHS at Stanley Mission;
Work closely with Staff and students at RHMKHS;
Direct and supervise staff and students within the NAIP;
Encourage and teach Math and Language Arts to the students partaking NAIP ;
Prepare and evaluate, reports and statistical data as required;
Maintain Liaison with other Indian Bands, Tribal Councils and agencies;
Ensure proper budget control and that all expenditures are maintained.
PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES & ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent education and experience;
Ability to provide a role model in healthy lifestyles;
Ability to provide effective staff supervision;
Ability to work well in a team approach to the delivery of Nehithew Askiy Immersion Program;
Ability to set objectives, develop action plans and organize meetings;
Must pass Security Clearance.
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
