Permanent Full Time One on One Developmental Worker at Hope's Home Supportive Living:
Looking for candidates who have experience working with children with special needs. Experience working with crisis and self-harming behaviours is a must. The child has a history of both behaviours and requires educated support with both behaviours.
Understands sign language
Enjoys a challenge and a very rewarding experience.
Enjoys busy days with many outings, such as going swimming, going for walks, swinging at the park, going to the trampoline park Get Air etc.
Able to remain calm and collected in high stress situations
Thrives well in a Team orientated work place.
Confidentiality and integrity are must have personal attributes. We are an organization that prides themselves on creating a safe loving space for the children in our care.
This position is to start January 2018 with a minimum of 30hr/week varying hours.
