Job Summary:
Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, Welder I is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.
Overall Main Responsibilities:
Operation of required measuring instruments tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage
Welds components in flat positions
Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures
Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform all other work activities as assigned and required
Education and Knowledge Required:
Minimum high school diploma or recognized equivalent education is preferred
Related trade certificate from a recognized post-secondary institute is beneficial
Combinations of education and experience will be considered
Experience and Technical Skills Required:
0-2 years of Experience
Mechanical aptitude required
