Green Ash Farms is seeking two(2) Swine Technicians for our 400 sow farrow-to-finish nucleus unit producing high quality breeding stock for an international swine breeding company.
We are locally owned and managed, and offer stability in a friendly environment.
Duties will include:
-Be responsible for the complete care of the hogs in your assigned area,
-Carrying out AI breeding programs
-Monitoring the feed & watering systems
-Ensuring herd health, recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
-Ensuring a clean environment
-Vaccinating, assisting farrowing, and all other related duties for the sow herd.
-Piglet care-Processing, treating, etc.,
-Daily record-keeping
-Completing tasks assigned by management.
-Following biosecurity protocols
-Assist in pig movement from one area to another within production unit

-Experience in swine production is an definite asset but we are willing to train the right candidate if they are eager to learn.
