We are seeking applicants to join our Progressive, Growing, Innovative Company as:

MIG WELDERS

Our MIG Welders are responsible for fitting and welding aluminum, steel and stainless steel final assembly components for non-standardized and standardized assemblies.  They operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments; using gas metal arc (GMAW-MIG) processes.

Objective

Responsible for fitting and welding final assembly components using established welding procedures and Jigs
Read blue prints and shop drawings and manufacture required parts to the specification and tolerances indicated
Complete welds per company and Ballistic welding standards
Responsible for meeting established standardized part-specific work-order times as outlined
Check products and materials to ensure compliance with tolerance/quality standards
Operation of grinders, and cutting equipment is required
Operate forklift and crane
Operation and maintenance of welding and associate machinery
Success Requires

A minimum of 3 - 5 years current experience
Ability to use measurement tools; read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and diagrams
Experience with GMAW processes in the welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is a requirement
Experience with GTAW processes is an asset
Ability to use measurement tools; read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and drawings
