Description

Loraas Disposal Services Ltd. is looking to fill the position of IT Network Administrator. Reporting to the IT Manager, they will be responsible to provide internal information technology support, such as server security, software updates, and hardware maintenance.

Duties
Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity
Provide one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication
Provide first-level help desk services on software and hardware issues
Participate in professional development activities to improve knowledge and skills
Maintain confidential data on a secure part of the server to prevent unauthorized access to information
Diagnose and resolve minor network issues
Assist with database maintenance and work to resolve issues as they arise
Provide internal information technology support, such as server security, software updates, and hardware maintenance
Maintain and keep the company's telecommunication systems running with minimal downtime
Ensure that server hardware is adequately sized and configured; conduct capacity planning scenarios to meet future needs
Assist with the planning, approval, and implementation of technology projects

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry
1-3 years of related experience
Certifications including MCSA, MCSE, CCNA are an asset
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization
High level of integrity and work ethic
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
