Looking for a Cook (Japanese Food) at Arigato Sushi Japanese Restaurant
Job Position: Cook (Japanese Food)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $15.00 per hour
Working hours: 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Benefit: 15 days of paid vacation per year or 6% of gross salary for vacation pay
Main duties:
- Make Japanese meals such as sushi, sashimi, maki, and rolls.
- Make teriyaki and tempura sauce, udon, miso soup, and etc.
- Oversee kitchen operations and train kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies and equipment
- Ensure standards of food safety and sanitation are adhered and maintain work areas clean

Qualifications:
- Completion of High School
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial cooking
- English (Basic English is ok.)
