Job Description: The Regional Manager of Operational Support Services, with overall direction from the Director of Operational Support Services, plans, directs, organizes and coordinates the resources and staff of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services and Laundry Services. This encompasses the provision of services in various different facilities in the Sunrise Health Region, including catering and retail programs. This is in keeping with the specific objectives of each of the departments and the Sunrise Health Region.
Required Qualifications
Food and Nutrition Management diploma
Food Safe certificate
Supervisory training
Lean Leader Certification is an asset, but must embark on training and fulfill ongoing maintenance requirements.
Journeyperson Cook Certificate is an asset
Experience
Five (5) years of related Food & Nutrition Services experience, with preference to experience in a management capacity in a health care setting. Two (2) years related Environmental Services Experience in health care is an asset. Previous management experience in a Laundry and Environmental Services industry or equivalent experience is an asset.
