Education
Currently enrolled full-time at a post secondary institution in a certificate, diploma or degree program , and returning full-time as a student in the fall of 2018.
Preference will be given to candidates in a field of study related to the SIGA property and hiring managers business units needs.
Experience
Experience in the field of Facilities is an asset.
Experience in managing small initiatives is an asset.
Experience in research and analysis is an asset.
Experience working with various computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment.
Knowledge of procedures and best practices in the field of Facilities is an asset.

Main Duties
Reporting to the Director or Manager of the unit, the Summer Student will assist the Department that they are assigned to. Responsibilities will include: Assisting as necessary in preparation and implementation of departmental initiatives; Working on assignments and projects that will improve the processes and procedures within the Department; Acting as backup for Department Consultants/Specialist; Other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Department.
