Technician  Fire, Security & Alarm Systems (SYS01)

Express Employment Professionals is a Staffing & Recruiting agency locally owned and operated here in Regina.  We service all of Southern Saskatchewan assisting with the short term, and long term staffing requirements of local businesses.  Are you a natural problem solver with experience in systems installation such as fire, security and alarm? Do you enjoy connecting customers with the right solutions and delivering amazing customer experiences?

Under direct supervision, the System Technician is a tremendous resource and an important element to both the technical aspects and the customer service aspects of the business. The Systems technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of fire, security, and alarm systems.   Proficient computer skills will be required specifically for working knowledge of the MS Operating Systems including Windows 2000.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Minimum 2 years experience in a related field
High School diploma or higher is required
Electronics Certification from an accredited technical school
Troubleshooting systems and actively resolving any problems
Must understand core and 3rd party products, software and systems and/or electrical technology
Adhere to all safety standards and local and national codes with the highest regard for both contractor and employee safety at all times
Effective customer service skills in order to deliver an in-depth understanding of customer needs/wants
Completion of paperwork and other on-site documentation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficient computer skills on MS Operating systems including Windows 2000 Server
