We are looking for customer orientated students to join our team from May 1, 2018 through August 31, 2018 as a part time Autotrades person at Regina Salvage. To be considered for summer employment, students must be currently enrolled full time in a post secondary institution and returning to full time studies in the fall of 2018.
Responsibilities (not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments):
- Dismantles salvage vehicles for sale of salvage parts.
- Tests and identifies recycled parts.
- Operates forklifts, bobcats, hoists and other heavy equipment.
- Stocks, ships and receives parts.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of automotive parts and routine dismantling work.
- Working knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes.
- Working knowledge in the safe use of tools.
Working Conditions: Work tasks require constant light physical effort, frequent heavy physical effort, and constant manual dexterity/co-ordination. Work is subject to adverse weather and incumbents will constantly be exposed to noise, poor or excessive lighting, odours, dust, dirt and fumes.
