Aldon Oils Ltd. is an E&P company based in Weyburn, Saskatchewan with operations in SE Saskatchewan. The company has an exciting opportunity available for summer employment for students currently enrolled in the areas of Geosciences/Sciences.

Reporting to the Land Manager, the Geosciences Summer Student will assist the land and geology departments on various projects.  Projects are chosen based on a combination of business need and the student's skills and strengths.

Responsibilities
    Assist with maintaining companies land/data files
    Prepare reports and provide project specific updates to Land & Geology Teams
    Will learn basic GeoScout software skills in order to prepare maps and reports
    Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
    Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
    Compile data and other required information as needed
Candidate Qualifications
    Currently enrolled in post secondary schooling in the areas of Geosciences/Sciences
    Must have a willingness to learn and be hardworking
    Competent computer skills specifically experienced with Microsoft excel and word
    Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Ability to work in a fast paced environment and collaborate with others
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
