Description

Competencies:
(1)    Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Education or Human Justice.  Experience in the human service field would be an asset
(2)    Good interpersonal skills, personal maturity and strong problem solving skills.
(3)    Thorough knowledge of urban Aboriginal culture, either First Nation and/or Metis and demonstrated ability to work within the Aboriginal community.
(4)    Must complete Victim Services training.
(5)    Must be willing to work shifts, days and evenings with some weekends.
(6)    Must have a valid drivers license and adhere to a Code of Ethics.
NOTE:    If a qualified applicant is not found within the Regina Police Service, this vacancy shall be open to qualified applicants of other City Departments and the general public.  All outside candidates must undergo security screening.
