Pinehouse Business North (PBN) is a northern Saskatchewan Aboriginal owned company. PBN is hiring a permanent full time PROJECT MANAGER who will be capable of planning & executing large Civil/Earthwork projects. The successful candidate would be required to work out of the PBN Saskatoon office as well as project sites which are typically throughout Northern Saskatchewan.
In this role you will plan, manage, lead, execute, and finalize the construction project within scope, schedule and budget.
Specifically, you will:
Report to PBNs Director of Operations to develop and manage project bids, estimates and contracts;
Supervise Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators to identify and manage resources (labour, equipment, material & subs) needed to complete projects;
Actively track project costs, schedule and impacts, while minimizing risk;
Regularly liaise and communicate with project stakeholders, for completing all phases of projects;
Supervise and manage construction process and conduct weekly or bi-weekly site inspections;
Ensure all project documents are completed and filed accordingly, and;
Adhere to and promote PBNs procedures and processes while identifying potential improvements.
In order to qualify for this role, you will need the following:
Sound knowledge of construction and management practices acquired through successful completion of multi-million dollar industrial civil/earthworks projects;
A minimum of 10 years industry experience;
Strong working knowledge of software programs particularly MS Excel & Project;
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Project/Construction Management is considered an asset;
A strong commitment to capacity building and knowledge transfer to PBN employees is considered an asset.
