Description

We are currently looking for a junior programmer to start on a contract basis in an assistant/trainee role to a senior programmer.

Key Responsibilities
--------------------

Assist in creating robust and reliable web application solutions, focusing on data accessibility and processing applications

Assist in defining technical requirements, write technical design specifications

Assist in designing, maintaining, testing and debugging code

Provide integration support to peer development teams

Assist in developing tools to enable administration and management of server applications


Required Technical Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
training and professional experience

Knowledge in PHP, Python, Django, HTML, CSS, and Javascript (Jquery/AJAX)

Linux and/or UNIX development experience

Grasp of web standards HTTP, CSS, Javascript

Experience developing production quality Web Application

Deep understanding of infrastructure, software architectural and design issues

Familiarity with databases, MySQL and MSSQL
