Description

Dasro is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract role with a corporate client in Regina.

Job duties:

liaison among stakeholders to facilitate gathering, validating and communicating of requirements for assigned projects

1.Creation of test scripts, test cases and tracing them back to documented requirements.
2.Gathering requirements in an iterative fashion.
3.Utilizing best practice business analyst techniques.
4.Meeting facilitation in a group environment, gathering requirements from a wide variety
of stakeholders with a focus on progressive and iterative delivery.
5.Documenting current and future state vision and demonstrating the ability to challenge business assumptions while following the established processes and standards.
6.Exercising independent judgement, interpreting information for tasks assigned.
7.Working with a variety of business units to troubleshoot and recommend resolutions to
process issues with existing applications.
8.Working independently and collaboratively with team members as required.
9.Knowledge sharing to ensure progressive realization of improvements within the
business analyst practice.

Qualifications:
        Creating test scripts, test cases and tracing them back to documented requirements
    Iterative Requirements Gathering
    Utilizing best practice business analyst techniques
    Facilitation experience in a group environment, gathering requirements from a wide variety of stakeholders with a focus on progressive and iterative delivery
    Documenting current and future state vision and demonstrating the ability to challenge business assumptions while following the established processes and standards
    Working with a variety of business units to troubleshoot and recommend resolutions to process issues with existing applications
    North American Job Experience
    CBAP or PMI-BA Certification
    Gas industry / utility knowledge
    Sparx Enterprise Architect
