SUMMER STUDENT - ICT Department

Competition Number: 2018-004Jan- Summer Student - ICT Department (4 m. term - April 30, 2018 to August 31, 2018) - Tisdale or Yorkton

The Position:

The Cornerstone Credit Union Summer Student program is a great opportunity for a post-secondary student who is interested in working in a credit union technology environment.

Under the direction of Cornerstone Credit Union's Manager, IT, this individual will train with and work alongside all of our Information Communication Technology (ICT) team members. The successful candidate will work in either the Tisdale or Yorkton Cornerstone branch - depending on candidate's indicated preference at time of application.

You will learn how to:

Trouble shoot complex IT issues.
Track technical issues from start to finish in Dell Kace, and other software, and report results and new ideas to our ICT team.
Work with Cloud Applications, including Office 365, Skype business tools.
Create documentation and share it through onBase (document management system), OneDrive and possible SharePoint sites.
Work closely with other Cornerstone team members across the company.
Image systems including desktop and laptops and tablets using KACE appliance
How to provide exceptional internal member service
What we require:

Grade 12 Diploma, and must be enrolled in a full time post-secondary Information Technology, Microsoft or other related discipline program to commence or continue in the fall of 2018.
Knowledge on how to upgrade computers, preferable experience or knowledge with Windows 10 upgrades.
Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
Fearless not afraid to be a bold and outside the box thinker.
