Habitat for Humanity Regina is a non-profit organization that works to break the cycle of poverty through affordable homeownership for low income, hard-working families.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative, marketing, communications, website and social media savvy individual to join our team as Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role will require you to be proficient in social media and website marketing. You will also have experience developing Marketing & Communications plans and collateral, plus experience working with media. You will help us tell the story of Habitat for Humanity across multiple platforms to raise awareness of what we do and why its critically important to donate to our cause, volunteer for our cause and shop at the ReStore to support our cause.
To be successful you will have:
Relevant education and a minimum 3 years experience with social media platforms and website use as a marketing tool.
Ability to work as part of a team within Fund Development to provide assistance cultivating supporter relationships through the use of marketing platforms, communication channels, stewardship and recognition tools.
Demonstrated ability with marketing campaigns
Demonstrated ability with communications work, creative writing abilities and media relationships
Experience with fundraising and supporter relations as they relate to recognition and stewardship is an asset.
Experience with graphic design will be considered an asset
Experience with event planning is an asset
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Tactful and mature demeanour with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills; including the ability to work well with a team and manage multiple tasks.
