We are currently recruiting for a General Manager for an excellent opportunity in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.  Our client is seeking a leader to grow the current successful manufacturing business from where it is to what it could be.  Their goal is to manufacture and supply durable, high quality products.  They are a leader in their field, but want someone to lead them to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has an Engineering and/or design background or come up through the welding trade and is now a champion salesperson and has strong leadership experience.  You should have excellent contacts and the ability to lead a company of 25-40 staff.

Responsibilities:
    Develop strategic plans with focus on quality services, innovation and growth.
    Develop and manage P & L in conjunction with the Controller
    Participate and lead high level negotiations with clients.
    Play an active role in formulating/administering company policies and goal development.
    Must be charismatic, excellent people skills, organized, highly motivated and proactive.
    Collaborative, respectful, and approaches leadership with an open door policy.
    Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
    Proven ability to grow the business.
    Strong communication skills with a straightforward approach.
    Ability to handle a great deal of change and pressure, with shifting priorities, deadlines, and/or goals.
    Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity in problem solving.
    Candidates with a an engineering or design background are preferred
    Candidates with a welding background will be an asset
    Candidates must have 5+ years management experience in a manufacturing operation
