ROGERS TAVERN is currently seeking offsale/bar staff!
This position requires you to serve tables, tend bar, and help off sale patrons.
This is a full time position. With possibility of full time hours. Applicants must have full availability.
Successful applicants will be outgoing, dependable, quick learners with a talent for customer service. Applicant must be reliable.
Those with experience working in a similar environment will be given preference, however we are always willing to train the right person.
Applicant MUST have a valid Serve It Right Certificate as well as their own transportation.
Starting wage is $12.50, and benefits are offered after 3 months of employment to full time employees.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
