Job Summary:
The Class 1 Truck Driver / Labourer is responsible for loading and hauling heavy equipment and materials as well as construction labour work on a long-term project in Regina. The hours of work are 8 hour days, 5 days per week, with overtime and Saturdays as needed or when required.
Responsibilities:
Haul heavy equipment and materials to and from worksites using tractor trailers.
Move equipment (excavators, backhoes, loaders, skid steers) up to 100,000 lbs.
Perform additional tasks and labour work as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 Drivers License, own reliable vehicle, and clean abstract.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the loading/unloading, securing and transportation of a variety of heavy mobile equipment and materials.
Experience operating a Picker and able to demonstrate competency is an asset.
Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.
Willing and able to perform labour tasks when not operating or hauling equipment.
Able to perform daily maintenance on equipment.
Willing to train others.
CSTS or SCOT certification.
Ground Disturbance training.
Concrete experience.
