Description

Days Inn Swift Current is looking for a Fun, Energetic, and Innovative new team member.

As the Assistant Manager, you would be assisting the General Manager in the daily hotel, food & beverage operations by delivering outstanding guest services and producing hotel profitability.

Resposibilities include:
    Directing and managing hotel, food & beverage operations including, hotel budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with company policies, safe practices, and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guests inquiries, resolving concerns, and team meeting facilitation.
    Oversite of service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, compliance to standards and monitoring financial measurements.
    Act as General Manager in their absence.
Your role will be to:

Oversee hotel operations to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests to enjoy.  It will be hands on dealing directly with guests and staff.  

Build and Foster Front Office Staff.

Help lead associates to guest experience and improve hotel occupancy and revenue.

Assists GM in monitoring cash management, in-house guest balances and direct bill receivables compliance.

Assists with drive-by activities and competitor surveillance when needed

Actively reviews and monitors websites to ensure timely and appropriate responses.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous management hotel experience is required in a hospitality or retail establishment. Demonstrated leadership ability is desired. Job-related college level courses preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES

- Financial acumen
- Computer fluency with Windows suite of applications including Excel
- Supervisory skills to oversee daily activities of 40+ person hourly staff
- Ability to organize multiple priorities to ensure that daily operations are performed at peak efficiency
- Subject to a criminal record check
