Description

AGI Envirotank is a leading manufacturer of above and below ground steel storage tanks for both shop built and field erected applications.  We are currently looking for a full-time maintenance person.
This person will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities. This position ensures production lines are continuously running in order to meet our output objectives and customer deliveries.
Equipment consists of a range of lathe and machining centers, welders, hydraulic high pressure testing equipment, paint system, overhead cranes, and other general machine shop and manufacturing equipment.

DUTIES:
-Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, general repairs as required and making recommendations as to the extent of the repairs required and suggestions for improvements.
-Diagnosing and troubleshooting machine, hydraulic and pneumatics equipment issues in a safe and timely manner.
-Installing and relocating equipment.
-Providing periodic support to building maintenance needs (ie. carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Use the time available to organize and complete work within a given deadline.
- Ability to read schematic drawings to repair equipment.
- Practice good housekeeping within all work areas.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge to work safely.
- Strong command of the English language (read, write, speak.)
- Ability to work on higher elevations such as ladders and manlifts.

Preference of 3-5 years experience in similar position.
Technical trade (millwright, service tech, mechanic) is an asset.
