Description

The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 250 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.  Beeland Co-op invites applications for the position of Pharmacy Manager at our new Food Store & Pharmacy located in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

Nestled in the North-East region of Saskatchewan, Beeland Co-op is a $50 million dollar retail with multi-site operations in Tisdale and branch locations in Arborfield and Bjorkdale.  Committed to serve our members with products and services that help build, feed and fuel the community, Beeland Co-op is opening a new Food Store & Pharmacy.  With the impending building completion of the Food Store & Pharmacy in October 2018, Beeland is seeking an experienced pharmacist professional to shape and grow the department from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Pharmacy Manager will perform pharmacist duties while being responsible for the overarching business objectives of the department.  As a hands-on team leader, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building strong customer relationships based on the principles of prompt, friendly and efficient customer service.  Combining professional expertise and business acumen, responsibilities for this position include growing sales, establishing budgets, supply management, customer relations, scheduling and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious self-starter with at least 3 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail environment.  The successful candidate must possess an accredited Pharmacy Degree, along with a current Provincial pharmacy license.
