Description

The Rural Municipality of Montmartre No. 126 is accepting applications for a full time Working Foreman.

The Foreman will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Plan, supervise and co-ordinate daily municipal operations and projects.
- Oversee outside employees. The R.M. has 4 additional outside employees.
- Assist Council and Administration with infrastructure planning and maintenance.
- Provide reports to Council and Administration.
- Shop and yard inventory reports and control.
- Maintain daily logs and equipment service records.
- Operate Municipal equipment as needed. Such as Grader, backhoe, loader, tractor and mower, tandem gravel truck, semi-tractor and trailer, etc.
- Perform duties as requested and/or assigned by Council or Administration.
- Ensure RM shop and yard are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Co-ordinate all projects, including work with contractors.
- Maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.

Other requirements:
- Class 1A driver's license an asset. Driver's abstract will be required.
- Experience operating a grader.
- Experience operating other light, medium and heavy equipment an asset.
- Must be willing to receive training and acquire certificates as needed.
