Description

Super B Drivers will operate a tractor-trailer combination with a capacity of 63,500 KG, to transport and deliver petroleum products from refineries or terminals in Regina, Edmonton,and Saskatoon to various customers.Drivers are expected to work safely, efficiently and accurately with limited supervision, while wearing appropriate PPE. Super B Truck Drivers require a Class 1 Commercial drivers' license.  Drivers are required to load and unload their unit.  
Job Duties
Maximize the utilization of manpower and distribution equipment to full potential
Load petroleum products from refineries and deliver to various customers
Conduct business and perform duties in a zero tolerance environment for error
Adherence to all Point Gray Contracting, CPPI and customer policies
Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness and ensuring that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Complete all necessary paperwork such as daily logs, pre-trip and post trip inspections, Bills of Lading, Hours of service log books, etc.
Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks
Delivery of product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
Maintain trucks overall mechanical service and cleanliness
Train others when required
Use of required PPE
Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years highway B-train driving experience
Class 1A drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Overnight travel required
