Primary Responsibilities:
HCI Farms Indian Head Ltd. is looking for a Part Time Farm Operator to help with harvest that covers over 14,000 acres of land near Indian Head, Saskatchewan at the farm location NW of 20-18-13-w2.
Reports to:
Farm Foreman
Job Duties:
Operation of tractors, air drills, high clearance sprayers, land rollers, heavy harrow and semis trucks.
Hauling water, fuel, tools and chemical
Regular maintenance of all farm equipment
Day to day duties typical to that of a grain farm
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Works safely, adhering to safe farm practices when handling tools and operating equipment
Reliable
Ability to work both as a team player and independently
Active listener
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required
Must have previous agricultural experience
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license (Class 1A license preferred)
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner
Extended hours may be required during peak farming seasons

Hours/Wage:
Hours for this position are consistent with that of full time employment, with the possibility of additional working hours being required during the spring seeding season. The wage for this position is $22-24/hr. depending on experience.
