Description

The financial Service Manager provides new and used car buyers financing and insurance programs. They also work in conjunction with financial lenders to give fair interest rates and programs to buyers.

Responsibilities:

Provide vehicle financing and insurance to customers. Provide a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties. Explain manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.

Seek new lending institutions and maintain relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs

Process financing and leasing deals and secure approval through financial sources with approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels

Comply with federal, provincial and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments

Attend management meetings to discuss business development and produce reports on department statistics

Providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealerships financing and extended service programs

Must have strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees, finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership, and have a strong attention to detail


Requirements:

Experience in Financial Services or automotive sales is preferred but not essential
Knowledge of finance and insurance procedure
Excellent organization/time management
Occasionally work evenings and Saturdays to achieve goals
Proficient computer skills
