HyLife Ltd. is a progressive Manitoba based company. HyLife and its affiliates have feed and pork operations and genetics and meat sales in various countries around the world. The Head Office is located in the vibrant community of La Broquerie, Manitoba. We are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Barn Manager at Chardonnay Sow Barn in Leroy, Saskatchewan. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.
Leroy is a beautiful rural town of 500, located approximately 30 minutes south of Humboldt. A location premium and company vehicle will be allocated. This position is in effect as of March 2018.
This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions:
- Organize breeding, farrowing and pig flow
- Overall production improvements
- Implement all biosecurity protocols and audit regularly
- Employee management
- Manage day to day farm duties
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Communicate with all divisions - boar stud, feed, logistics, prod. Managers, etc.
- Overall site Upkeep
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

- Good communication & problem solving skills
- Team leader
- Good work ethic
- Computer skills email, excel and pigchamp
- Valid drivers license
