Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, are looking for hard-working administrative assistants who have experience in tax preparation.  These would be temporary placements from approximately January, 2018  May, 2018.

The Role:

Supporting leadership with the day to day management of schedules
Establishing and coordinating calendars, arranging and scheduling appointments/meetings
Preparing and editing financial, narrative, reports and communications as requested
Supporting leadership with composing & producing routine correspondence
Assisting with T1 forms including collection of information, partner approvals, client delivery, and managing the process to completion
Managing T3, T4 and T5 preparation and deadlines
Tracking the progress and completion of projects, tracking client deadlines and billings
Coordinating external client and internal staff meetings, including room bookings, meals/catering, projectors and reports/documentation
Sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing mail and dealing with correspondence as appropriate (responding, delivering, filtering)

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 2 years of professional office experience in an Administrative role
A relevant post-secondary degree or diploma (or equivalent qualifications)
Experience working with accounting or in an accounting environment is an advantage
Data entry speed of over 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competence in using all facets of Microsoft Office
