Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, this position is responsible for the following:
- Provide application design and development solutions to support highly confidential and strategic corporate development, and business initiatives
- Provide comprehensive technical system engineering solutions and delivery that are inclusive of new and emerging technologies, and adopt and optimize processes and practices that are compliant with industry best standards
- Provide guidance and leadership to a group of developers responsible for the support, enhancement and maintenance of existing and new applications
- As part of a team, provide support and maintenance to both the Custom Built and COTS systems, and use a variety of tools to determine the overall health of these systems
- Provide oversight and planning services to refresh, enhance, improve and support legacy applications that are part of a complex and highly integrated environment that incorporates a variety of programmatic code languages (i.e. VB6, C#, numerous versions of .Net framework, Java, etc.)
- Provide design and development expertise on ISCs technical applications and infrastructure to ensure these remain relevant and supported
- Provide oversight and collaboration to support a group of Development resources that provide day-to-day support and continuous improvement to the existing applications and infrastructure
