Description

As part of the Information Security & Technology group and reporting to the Information Security & Information Technology, you will develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of Canpotexs existing enterprise software applications (i.e. Infor, Veson, ETQ, Halogen, Office 365, LMS, Office Suite, ADP Workforce Now, Wonderware, Railinc  etc.), as well as any in-house custom built applications.  Perhaps just as importantly, though, will be your understanding of how they are used as business tools throughout the company.  Your expertise will allow you to provide support and training, working closely with technical assistance from vendors as required, thereby improving the end user experience.  With Canpotex embarking on a digital transition, you will also be responsible for understanding how new software applications may be implemented, and eventually utilized.  You will also develop, implement and manage best practices for technology support and training processes throughout the organization.  This includes defining and documenting all associated policies and procedures.  

As a Software Application Specialist, you will work closely with our business analysts, development/operations and service center teams, in order to understand the companys business information requirements.   Your excellent communication and organizational skills, plus a strong interest in business application systems will make you successful in this role.  You are proactive, a good listener, adept at change management, comfortable working in an Agile project management environment and independently motivated.
