Family run farm requires equipment operator for the 2018 season. Position would start in spring 2018 and end at the completion of harvest 2018, but with an opportunity for long term employment for the right candidate. Must be willing to work long hours during peak season! Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
- Basic farm knowledge with a strong interest in agriculture
- Operate modern farm equipment
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Mechanically inclined able to perform basic machinery maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid 1A license would be an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Other farm duties as required
