Description

The ESL Instructor position is an out-of-scope position reporting to the Literacy Facilitator based in Wynyard. The instructor will plan, organize and implement an instructional program of English for settlement, academic or work purposes for learners whose first language is not English. The position will also be responsible for the informal evaluation of learners including on-going progress assessment and short and long-term instructional planning. This position must be able to relate to participants needs and tailor classroom activities around them.

Education requirements include: Bachelor of Education, English, or Adult Education degree. Completion of CERTESL certificate or equivalent is considered an asset.
