Located in Saskatoon, we are looking for a skilled, creative and dynamic individual who will play an important role in communications and project coordination. The successful candidate must have proven writing skills with at least 2 years experience in the communications field, be an efficient and a strategic thinker and thrive in a busy and creative environment. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others.

Responsibilities include:
- write, edit and develop creative content for client projects
- plan, implement and evaluate communications initiatives
- assist with planning and coordinating events and programs
- assist in developing board correspondence, reports and industry communications
- create and schedule content on popular social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest)
- monitor and collect social media and website analytics
- basic graphic design
- experience with Microsoft Office Suite a must
- familiarity with Constant Contact, Animoto, Hootsuite, Canva is an asset
- knowledge of, or experience in, the agriculture or food industries is an asset

This is an 18-month term position from May 2018 to October 2019 with the possibility of an extension.

We offer competitive wages, a professional office environment and a rewarding career experience. This position will be four days per week with the possibility of expanding to five days.  

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.   4:30 p.m.
