Summer Student JobWe are looking to hire an energetic and conscientious individual to join our team for the Summer. If you find satisfaction in creating a clean and organized environment, prefer to work independently most of the time, have an eye for detail and hold an appreciation for nature we would love to welcome you to Waters Edge Eco Lodge.
Responsibilities: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for Lodge, Cottage and Event guests. This will include:
-General cleaning of Lodge, Cottages and Event Venues
-Cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms
-Laundry and ironing of linens
-Making beds and putting on duvet covers
-Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
-Cleaning and dusting furniture
-Washing windows, walls and woodwork
-Organizing Recycling materials
-Some dish washing and kitchen cleanup
-Occasionally performing some basic yard work
Qualifications:
-Diligent and Reliable
-Hard working and Energetic
-Positive Attitude
-Pleasant and Respectful
-Detail Oriented
-Must be able to lift 25lbs without difficulty and climb stairs easily
Requirements:
-Transportation to Waters Edge Eco Lodge
-Work varying shifts between 8am and 10pm, including weekends
-Follow directions and work independently
-16 years of age or older
