Description

e Residential Installer / Service Technician is the primary person responsible for the installation of residential garage doors and garage opener systems, as well as the overall technical maintenance of these systems.

This position is responsible for delivery and installation of residential overhead doors, record keeping, housekeeping at the warehouse, maintaining service vehicles and equipment, product education and training, safety training, component repair, general maintenance, diagnostics, and other duties, as required.

Job Duties:

Install doors and door components
Repair components of overhead doors and openers including replacing springs, cables, track and sections of garage doors
Install operators and operator components
Educate customers
Be a polite, responsible and suitable representative of Queen City Overhead Door.
Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail.
Minimum 2 years' progressive experience in the installation and service of residential overhead doors.
Organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
Positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Mechanical Skills.
Logical Thinker.
Healthy & Fit.
Perform physical demands such as, but not limited to: Reaching above shoulders, climbing ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, working at elevated heights and ability to lift up to 100+ lbs.
Must be able to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driver's abstract.
Enjoy working outdoors.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
This is a safety sensitive position, therefore pre-employment or site-specific drug testing may be requested.
