Camp Monahan is searching for an enthusiastic candidate to organize, plan and run an effective Outdoor Education/ Archery program for children aged 6 to 13. Outdoor Education is key to camp - we are after all a `back to nature' camp that promotes active living in the great `unplugged' outdoor classroom. The alternating program days of outdoor education and archery will be organized to provide a creative experience for children to learn 'leave no trace' outdoor camping skills and nurture an appreciation for nature and the environment; as well as encouraging safety and skill development in archery as a lifetime sport. The Director will also work with fellow staff to positively guide the campers through this program and other camp activities and is expected to fully participate in the camp experience including chapel, campfire, meals, group activities and staff meetings. This position works closely with the Programming & Planning Chair of the Board of Directors and reports to the Executive and Camp Director.
