Camp Monahan is searching for an enthusiastic candidate to organize, plan and run an effective Arts and Crafts program for children aged 6 to 13. This person will guide children to exploration of their creative energies; using a variety of mediums and drawing on the beautiful natural setting to do so. Activities may draw on the history of our habitat in the Qu'Appelle Valley and involve painting, drawing, dance, poetry, music, drama - the possibilities are only limited by the creativity of the person filling this important position.
The Arts and Crafts Director will also work with fellow staff to positively guide the campers through this program and other camp activities and is expected to fully participate in the camp experience including chapel, campfire, meals, group activities and staff meetings. This position works closely with the Programming & Planning Chair of the Board of Directors and reports to the Executive and Camp Director.
