SLGA is seeking a permanent Manager, Cannabis Regulation which reports to the Director, Cannabis Licensing and Inspections Branch.  The Manager, Cannabis Regulation is responsible for maintaining daily workflow of cannabis retail and wholesale permitting, as well as managing the delivery of inspections, educational and investigational services by branch staff relevant to the cannabis regulatory framework in Saskatchewan. The Managers role includes identifying policy and regulatory changes required through consultation with industry stakeholders, research of other jurisdictions and program evaluation. The position must anticipate changing trends and new developments in the industry in order to develop or implement policy and regulatory changes. The position leads a team of Inspectors within the Regina and Saskatoon offices, as well as Licensing staff located in Regina.  There is a requirement to travel from the Regina office to Saskatoon as the position permits.
