Description

Primary Purpose: The Art Instructor works collaboratively with Gallery staff to develop, deliver and evaluate art programs for school-aged children and youth.  The Enbridge Young Artists Program develops inspiring art experiences for youth that will encourage attendance and increased engagement in their school and communities.  The Enbridge Young Artists Program includes after school programming, in-school workshops, and gallery visits.

Nature of Work: Reporting to the Curator of Public Programs, the Art Instructor for the Enbridge Young Artists Program works closely and collaboratively with the school in the development and delivery of programs and workshops; plans and coordinates supplies and materials; and maintains a safe, clean, and respectful environment for participants.
