Description

Reporting to the President, the Human Resources is an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team.

Providing HR support to all levels of internal clients accross all departments within the organization. Under administrative direction, manages, plans, develops, recommends and implements human resources activities, policies, procedures and programs for manufacturing organization.  Assist and advise upper management to reduce the risk, cost or liability to the organization.  Assist in the achievement of Schultes strategic goals through productive and engaged employees and managers while implementing programs to attract and retain talent.  Develop personnel related policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all human resources provincial and federal labour laws and Alamo Group Inc. policies and procedures.  Manage the work of subordinate human resources staff.

Essential Functions:

Manage and oversee all activities related to staffing
Manage and oversee all activities related to employee education and training, including yearly budgeting
Oversee and maintain performance appraisals, including pay system with role descriptions and wage bands, coordinating the Schulte discipline system when necessary
Oversee payroll and benefits administration
Policy identification and communication to employees
Manage and oversee activities relating to labor relations
Ensure compliance with employment and corporate standards
Develop and monitor HR Metrics
Maintain HRIS
Provide safety leadership and accountability for the entire site
Manage Schulte Safety Program
