Description

Bridge Counselling is seeking a Counselling Associate to join as an independent contractor for private practice. There is the potential to build to a full-time position. Flexible hours are available with the expectation to work some evenings and Saturdays.

The successful applicant must have a professional designation and be in good standing with a professional association (Registered Counsellor, Registered Social Worker, Register Psychologist, Provisional Registered Psychologist) and have or have the ability to independently carry current liability insurance. Three or more years of counselling experience is considered an asset.

Bridge Counseling is a progressive and dynamic counselling practice and has been serving the people of Saskatoon and area for 17 years. Our office on 2nd Avenue in Saskatoon is centrally located and provides easy access for all Saskatoon residents and clients outside of Saskatoon. Our vision is to create a space for hope and healing, where we help clients consciously design their best lives.

Bridge Counseling will provide the successful candidate with initial appointments from our broad marketing network. Our office receives referrals and requests for a variety of issues. We work with those wanting to improve their relationships with themselves, partner, loved ones, co-workers or community.

The position requires sound counselling skills, strong oral and written communication (progress notes) and abilities that support rapport building, teamwork and problem resolution. The position also requires maintenance of billing records and scheduling according to office procedures and other duties as required.
