Camp Monahan is looking for an assistant caretaker for the summer camping season (7 weeks, July 2- August 19, 2018). The successful applicant will have good organizational skills, work well under pressure, and have experience with electrical, plumbing, sewage systems and general carpentry. The assistant caretaker is under the direction and supervision of the Camp Caretaker. You will work closely with the Building and Grounds committee, Camp Director, and Executive Director. You will tend to the general upkeep of camp including mowing grounds and garbage pick-up; and address minor repairs or facility projects and assist with pool maintenance as required.
A valid driver's license, Pool Operator's Certificate, and Criminal/Vulnerable Sector Check are required. First Aid/CPR and WHMS are considered assets. All qualifications and certificates are required to be submitted at the time of hire. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and at least three references.
