Job Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Cypress Health Region through provisions of safe quality nursing care to clients.

He/She is responsible to the Manager of the designated area.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)

If there are no qualified applicants the employer may consider hiring individuals without the required qualifications who will be required to complete the Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate, within a specified period of time as a condition of employment.  For applicants who are not qualified preference will be given to candidates currently enrolled in the Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate course.

Plus Rotational Standby

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, On Call
56.00 hours per 3 week rotation: 7 shifts of 8.00 hours
