Discovery Co-op invites applicants for the position of Pharmacist (13 Month Term).
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the successful candidate must be a person who acts ethically and professionally with all stakeholders. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
Responsibilities include:
1. Distributing pharmaceuticals and providing treatment plan information to customers
2. Administrative duties in the pharmacy pertaining to customer files and inventory management
3. Communicating effectively with clients, interns, team members, health care providers and suppliers
4. Maintaining sanitation and safety standards of the department
5. Handling complaints and errors of minor nature and refer more serious complaints to the Pharmacy Manager
Requirements:
Recipient of an accredited Pharmacy Degree with successful completion of the requirements to obtain continued pharmacist licensure
Previous Saskatchewan pharmacy experience is preferred and previous co-operative retail experience is an asset
Must be available to work flexible hours: daytime and evenings
