Description

Brandt Tractor is currently seeking a Millwright for our Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include:

-Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications
-Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, and repair of machinery
-Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment
-Inspect/diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment
-Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
-Work in an environment where the products and jobs are continually changing
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
-10 years practical experience in the millwright trade in an industrial/mining environment
-Must have a Journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school
-Must have solid working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies
-Excellent understanding of blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
-Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps and gearboxes
-Proven ability to lead a team of skilled mechanics in a shop or customer site environment
-Strong ability to teach and train apprentices and other staff
-Proven experience working beside and communicating with high-profile customers
-Successful candidate may need to work shift work/overtime and on customer sites.
