We have a position available for a Welding Instructor in Brandts Regina manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Corporate Training and Safety Manager, the Welding Instructor: develops and delivers professional quality instruction and evaluation for adult learners across Brandt's welding departments; collaborates with others in scheduling, coordinating and delivering instruction both in the classroom and on-the-job; supports cross-training initiatives; and aligns training tasks with production requirements.
The successful candidate will hold a journeyperson welding certificate with extensive welding trade experience and a demonstrated commitment to quality and safety. A minimum of three years experience in teaching adult learners, and direct experience assessing training needs and designing instructional materials are also requirements. A degree or diploma in adult education is a strong asset. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cooperatively at all levels of the organization are requirements of this position.
