The Resort Village of Cochin invites applications for the position of Village Foreman due to retirement.
This is a permanent full-time combined management and working Foreman position responsible for the overall public works operations within the Village of Cochin.
The Village Foreman involves the operation of maintenance equipment and general public work duties specifically the following;
-maintenance of Village equipment and streets including grader operations/snow removal
-refuse collection
-building and ground maintenance
Preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated knowledge and experience in year round road maintenance, drainage systems, grass cutting/landscaping, beach maintenance, dock systems, and water line maintenance.
Possession of or willingness to obtain a Small Systems Water ticket would be an asset.
All Applicants must have a valid minimum Class 5 driver's license. Must possess or be willing to obtain Air Brake Endorsement A.
This position offers a competitive salary along with a benefits and pension plan. Salary to commensurate with experience and qualifications.
