Administrative Assistants Role:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day office reception and assistance with the administration of the office. Duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

First point of contact for clients
Prepare, receive and distribute internal and
  external mail
Ensure all databases are kept current
Accounts payable and receivable duties
Coordinating Job preparation
Preparation and submission of employee time
  sheets
Book hotel/flights for field crew and office
  personnel
Minute taking for Operations/Field Crew
  meetings
Orientate new hires on office procedure
Attends monthly Health & Safety meetings  
Monitors safety training expiry dates of the operations center, contractors and subcontractors. Arranges training with the supervisor and service provider.
Perform other duties as assigned by the
Office Manager

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a post-secondary diploma or degree with a specialization in Office or Business Administration, Accounting or Communications, along with 2-4 years previous experience in an Administrative role. Previous knowledge or experience within the Geomatics industry as will be considered an asset. Previous experience working with timekeeping software will be considered an asset. The successful candidate must possess excellent computer skills, attention to detail and accuracy, have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and must possess a friendly demeanor.
